Alexander Gibbs

Chair of the Department of Systematic Theology

Father Alexander R. Gibbs, STD, ordained to the Priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 16, 2015, is the Chair of the Systematic Theology Department. In addition, he serves as a Formation Advisor and a member of the Theological Seminary Formation Committee. He currently teaches Fundamental Theology and Christology. In the past, he has also taught courses for the School of Theological Studies, including the Theology of Christ and the Theology of the Church. He was assigned to the seminary faculty in 2024.
